You Are Not Alone:
15 People with Behcet's

by Joanne Zeis

Men, women and children from the US and Canada share their experiences living with Behcet's disease. Each of the fifteen patients' first symptoms and disease progression is covered in depth, as well as treatments in use, and other medical problems that may be related to this chronic illness. In addition to the twelve chapters on adult patients, this book includes profiles of three children with Behcet's: an 8-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl. But You LOOK Good!
Understanding and encouraging people with chronic illness and pain
by Sherri Connell

Even though a person with a chronic
condition may LOOK healthy, it does
not mean that they FEEL the same
way. But You LOOK Good provides
a convenient, informative way to
educate loved ones about what
people with debilitating illness and
pain struggle with, fight for and need
from their friends and family. It is
easy to read, gives practical ideas on how loved ones can be supportive, and is not too long for readers to lose interest!

Not by Sight (formerly called "Have A Little Faith")
by Wayne and Sherri Connell
published by Where is God Ministries

As humans, we commonly wrestle with understanding disabilities and illness. Unfortunately, often the first assumption about a believer with a continuing illness is that s/he must not have enough faith or they must be hiding a sin. This can be devastating to those who love the Lord and have a great deal of faith!

This booklet explains our natural responses to those debilitated by chronic illness and gives many examples of how to be a true encourager to our brothers and sisters in need! It is full of Scripture and quotes from physicians who specialize in chronic conditions. It is a must for all believers, church staff and ministry leaders.

                       $7 per booklet   (85 pages)
